I'm bringing my own lunch
I am in the middle of a period with alot of travelling. Great meals around the country, but neither much cooking in The Blue Café, nor much time to blog. But travelling can be a very good excuse to make nice lunch packets. Fleur sent me this food tin some time ago as a surprise after I had commented on her blog telliong her how nice I found the tin. It is perfect for a train ride, with rooms for bread, a salad, some cheese and fruit and a piece of cake. And with a basket filled with books and a moleskin or three I am well equipped for a day on the train.
Your food tin has a name. It is called a tiffin. I have one I bought in India because I loved seeing the children carry their lunches to school in them.
I live in Trondheim, Norway with my husband and two daughters. Two boys have moved out to create their own homes. I work full time, and have alot of interests, but there is hardly a day when you don't find me in the kitchen, playing with old and new recipes. And if I am not to be find it the kitchen, take a look in The Blue Garden. I am a member of the Slow Food movement and a supporter of the Slower Life.

And a lovely post
Bon voyage Britt-Arnhild and safe travels
A tiffin - I like the name and the object. I'll be on the lookout for one. Yours is very pretty.
