Invited to dinner
The kitchen is my arena, and I enjoy making food for family and friends. But I never say no to a dinner invitation. It is lamb season, and earlier this week my parents invited us over for a lamb dinner, "fårefrikasé"
My camera is never far away, and this blue table was too beautiful. While my mother started to serve Terje I found time to shoot a few photos.
Flatbrød and tyttebær - important ingredients on a Norwegian dinner table.
I live in Trondheim, Norway with my husband and two daughters. Two boys have moved out to create their own homes. I work full time, and have alot of interests, but there is hardly a day when you don't find me in the kitchen, playing with old and new recipes. And if I am not to be find it the kitchen, take a look in The Blue Garden. I am a member of the Slow Food movement and a supporter of the Slower Life.

Looks delicious! I have been enjoying flatbread lately myself. The lamb looks like it was cooked to perfection!
